AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is holding a pow-wow with his family today which could result in one last late bid for Carlos Tevez.

The door for Tevez had appeared to be closed after Milan chose to snap up Catania forward Maxi Lopez instead of the Manchester City man.

Signing Tevez from the Citizens would be a big economic commitment for the Rossoneri and is one Berlusconi and co. have been cold on.

But according to Corriere della Sera, there is still time for the Milan supremo to take the plunge.

Tevez remains desperate to leave Eastlands, but City are standing firm in their demand for a sum they believe the Argentine is worth.

And it seems the only way Milan could pull off a late swoop would be to acquiesce to City’s terms.

Should Berlusconi choose to do so, it would represent perhaps the signing of the winter window.
