Bundesliga giants Hamburg have loaned defender Lennard Sowah to English Championship club Millwall.
Sowah was snapped up by the northern German club in 2010 from Portsmouth and was instantly placed in Hamburg’s reserve side.
Despite being promoted to the senior team for assessment, it has now been decided that the centre back, who can also operate as a left back, needs more match practice.
And for this reason he will join London side Millwall.
