Turkish giants Galatasaray are keen on VfL Bochum midfielder Takashi Inui.

Sources in Germany have confirmed that the Istanbul giants are looking closely at the Japan international and could be willing to splurge cash on his services in the summer.

Galatasaray are thought to value Inui at around the €2M mark, though it remains to be seen whether this will be enough to convince Bochum to part with the player.

The 23-year-old joined the Bochum last summer from Cerezo Osaka, following in the footsteps of countryman Shinji Kagawa, who swapped the same club side for German football.

However, unlike Kagawa’s Borussia Dortmund, Bochum only play in the 2.Bundesliga, while a switch to Galatasaray would introduce Inui to European football, with the Champions League a distinct possibility.
