Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are plotting an ambitious €10M move for Queens Park Rangers schemer Adel Taarabt.

According to German sports magazine Kicker, the Wolves want to take the Moroccan international to the Volkswagen Arena in the summer and spy a good opportunity to do so.

Taarabt came close to joining Paris Saint-Germain last year and recently admitted it was only due to sporting director Leonardo that he did not pitch up at the Parc des Princes.

The 22-year-old remains ambitious and a switch to Wolfsburg, who are targeting a Bundesliga title tilt next season under Felix Magath, could well appeal.

And QPR may well be tempted by the €10M that the German side are preparing to offer for the Moroccan.

Should the Loftus Road outfit be relegated from the English Premier League this season, then Taarabt would be likely to be available for the right price, as a budgetary shortfall would surely need to be covered.

Wolfsburg are still set to try to sign Taarabt even if the Rs remain in the top flight though.
