Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Olympiacos striker Kevin Mirallas, according to sources in the player’s native Belgium.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a good season in the Greek Super League, helping his side to the title and scoring a more than respectable 20 goals in 25 league games.

Champions League finalists Bayern are on the lookout for another striker to add to their ranks following the departure of Ivica Olic to Wolfsburg.

The Bavarians have been scouting Montpellier forward Olivier Giroud intensively, but the France international would cost a tidy sum to snaffle from the Stade de la Mosson.

Belgian Mirallas could prove to be an altogether more affordable option, with a contract running until 2014 at Olympiacos.

Jupp Heynckes’ men may have competition for the striker’s signature however, as English duo Newcastle United and Everton have shown interest in Mirallas this season.
