Roma have become the latest Italian club to take a keen interest in Portuguese right back Jose Bosingwa.

The 29-year-old has been released by English Premier League outfit Chelsea after four years at Stamford Bridge, though bowed out on a high after winning the Champions League in May.

Now the former FC Porto man is on the lookout for a new challenge and he has attracted much attention from Serie A.

Already considering making Bosingwa an offer are Juventus, AC Milan, Inter and Napoli.

The Giallorossi can now be added to that list as they ponder whether the flying full back would be a good summer acquisition.

Bosingwa began his career with Porto-based side Boavista before making the leap across the city to FC Porto.

At the Estadio do Dragao, Bosingwa played under Jose Mourinho for the Porto side which won the 2004 Champions League.

He joined Chelsea in 2008 for a fee of around €20M.
