Young Mexican starlet Francisco Flores has revealed that French giants Lyon are keeping tabs on him – and the 18-year-old is hopeful something will materialise.
Flores, who can operate in defence or midfield, currently turns out for Cruz Azul in his homeland, and has taken great strides towards fulfilling his potential.
And the interest of Les Gones has been piqued.
“They told me they would keep an eye on me”, Flores told El Universal.
“This year they’ve been in contact with me once and they told me they think I am doing very well”, he added.
Flores though has not forgotten he is a Cruz Azul player, even if he is clear that a switch to France would be dreamland.
“I’m thinking of Cruz Azul first, but if I am lucky this opportunity may present itself and I’d be happy to accept.”
