Gaston Ramirez’ agent believes that the chances of his client moving to Inter are receding and revealed that he is currently in London to speak to an interested Premier League club.

The exciting Bologna midfielder will be in action at the 2012 London Olympics for Uruguay – yet another chance to impress potential buyers at close quarters.

Ramirez has been linked with a number of English sides over the last 12 months, with his most persistent suitors being Liverpool, while Tottenham Hotspur have also been mooted as a potential destination of late with the impending departure of Luka Modric.

The former Penarol starlet however is guaranteed to have piqued the interest of a whole host of sides and it now appears talks to secure his exit from the Rossoblu this summer are well under way; indeed, Wolfsburg made an official approach last month.

"Inter, they like the player, but we are very far off with regards to the valuation, since now Bologna ask for nearly €25M", Ramirez’ agent Pablo Betancourt told Calcio Mercato.

"The player is very likely to say goodbye to Italy, so much so that now I am in London to talk with a Premier League club", added the Uruguayan’s representative.

"Wolfsburg? They were they first club to make an approach, but for them some of the figures made it unrealistic."

And Betancourt is confident that Ramirez’ hype, leading to a hefty asking price, is well justified.

"He is one of the most important players in his national team, therefore there is no shortage of offers, though he is unlikely to remain in Italy."

Ramirez is under contract with Bologna until 2016, placing the Rossoblu in the driving seat over his future.
