Croatian international defender Dejan Lovren insists that constant speculation over a move to Barcelona is not bothering him.

The Lyon centre-back is highly rated and according to sources in Spain, is firmly on Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova’s shortlist for a new defender.

And with Lyon’s financial position far from healthy, the French side could opt to sell the 23-year-old for the right price.

Lovren though insists that he has not been approached yet by the Blaugrana and furthermore is happy at the Stade Gerland.

"When I read that Barcelona want me, I’m happy, but I am at Lyon", the defender told OL TV.

"If something concrete happens, then I will talk with the club, but for now we don’t.

"Every day you read in the newspaper that you are going here or there and sometimes I learn things about myself in the newspaper and I do not know where it comes from.

"But it does not bother me."
