Rubin Kazan are bidding to follow up their capture of Salomon Rondon from Malaga by swooping on Paris Saint-Germain for Nene.

The forward’s role at the Parc des Princes is in some doubt following the big money arrivals of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Marco Verratti this summer.

And so the 31-year-old may be tempted by pastures new as he bids to avoid a season on the bench.

Rubin Kazan are believed to have informed PSG that they are prepared to pay €4M for the Brazilian, while Nene would earn €3M per year in Russia.

Nene has been one of PSG’s most dangerous attacking players since joining the club in 2010 from Monaco.

The forward operated in an advanced position as part of Carlo Ancelotti’s 4-3-3 last season, but the arrival of so many new names promises to see the Italian shake up his system.

And the potential arrival of Lucas Moura from Sao Paulo could further take playing time away from Nene.
