Marseille striker Loic Remy has admitted that talks are continuing over a move to Tottenham Hotspur, but stressed for now his home is the Stade Velodrome.

Andre Villas-Boas’ men are believed to have had a bid for Remy rejected recently, but appear to still be working to find common ground with Marseille for the 25-year-old.

While the French side have been on a drive to cut costs, the respective sales of Cesar Azpilicueta and Stephane Mbia have gone some way towards doing the job. And so, Marseille will only sell Remy for a figure they consider to represent his true value.

With the clock ticking down to the end of the transfer window in England, it is not clear whether he will move – and that is how Remy sees it.

"For now, I’m here", the France international told French radio station RMC.

"I too am a spectator. I read the newspapers every day, but for now I am still here.

"I feel prepared for a good season with Marseille, but anything can happen."

And the former Nice hitman admitted he is aware of talks with Spurs.

"It is true that there are talks with Tottenham, but there is nothing concrete.

"And I repeat, I am at Marseille."

Remy is considered Marseille’s main goal threat and coach Elie Baup’s side would be severely weakened if he were sold.
