The transfer of Vadis Odjidja Ofoe to Everton from Club Brugge has not yet been approved by FIFA and the player has insisted that if he has to stay in Belgium, his motivation will not be affected.

Both clubs agreed to the loan switch late on Friday night, but the agreement needs to be ratified by FIFA, something which has not yet occurred.

Odjidja Ofoe is hoping that the move goes through, as he has stressed that the chance to play for the Toffees is an opportunity he does not want to miss.

The 23-year-old also added that, as a professional, his motivation will not be impacted should the deal not go through.

"The proposal is attractive and to play for Everton in the Premier League is a great opportunity", said Odjidja Ofoe.

"If this transfer does not take place, it will not affect my motivation. I guarantee that the club management may rely on a fully focused Vadis."

Club Brugge meanwhile said that they believe the transfer could even taken until Wednesday to be ironed out.

"It might be until Wednesday before we see a resolution in this case. In the meantime, Vadis is undergoing an individual training programme", read a statement released by the Belgian giants.
