Anderlecht striker Dieumerci Mbokani has admitted to being flattered at attracting attention from Italian champions Juventus.

Mbokani was in action for Anderlecht earlier this week in the Champions League when the Belgian giants faced AC Milan at the San Siro.

relatedNewsStory In the crowd sat scouts from Juventus, checking up on the 26-year-old – and they witnessed a more than competent performance from the striker, despite the game ending 0-0.

Mbokani has been prolific for Anderlecht and was the subject of much interest from a number of clubs last season – it was somewhat surprising for many that he remained in Brussels over the summer.

He could be on the move sooner rather than later if Juventus continue their interest however, and the striker is not displeased with the prospect, even if he expects to have other options too.

"It flatters me", said Mbokani of Juventus’ interest.

"Juventus are a great club and they interest me", he continued.

"But there are also other clubs that want me.

"Will I move in January? Nothing is decided yet. We’ll see."

Mbokani is under contract with Anderlecht until 2014.

And while the Belgian champions will not want to lose the striker in mid-season, it may indeed be when his value is highest.
