Felix Magath has insisted he is not feeling the pressure despite Wolfsburg’s poor start to the new Bundesliga season.

The Wolves have picked up just five points from their first six league games, boasting just one win so far this season.

relatedNewsStory Magath watched his side go down at the weekend at home to Mainz, losing 2-0.

It was a result which leaves Wolfsburg having conceded ten goals and scored only two.

But despite the mounting pressure at the Volkswagen Arena, Magath has claimed not to be worried about his job and is instead just working as hard as he can to help his side rise up the standings.

"What do I have to worry about?", said Magath to German sports daily Kicker.

"I am only worried about how many more points we can take and how to do it.

"On questions about my job, I can only shrug.

"I’m trying to work as hard as possible and do everything."

And despite Wolfsburg’s poor start, Magath is determined not to change the team’s pre-season ambitions.

"It is no use drawing conclusions after only six games.

"Our goal was to get a European place and that is still the case."
