Corinthians striker Paolo Guerrero has poured cold water on talk that he could leave the Brazilian giants.

The Peru forward has been linked with both Chelsea and Juventus in recent weeks, following his impressive performances at the FIFA Club World Cup for Corinthians.

Guerrero helped Corinthians to win the tournament, beating Chelsea in the final, a match in which he scored the only goal of the game.

It certainly put the 28-year-old in the shop window, with his strike proving crucial in helping Corinthians to be crowned world champions.

And talk of a return to Europe for a man who previously played in Germany with Bayern Munich and Hamburg quickly picked up pace.

But the Peru international has blasted the speculation as "crazy" and committed himself to Corinthians.

"I want to respect my contract with Corinthians. I am very happy here", he was quoted as saying by Italian daily Tuttosport.

"The rumours of my transfer are crazy", he said, adding playfully "like me".

Guerrero joined Corinthians only this year, after calling time on his six-year spell at Hamburg.
