Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila is ready to join QPR if they can agree a fee for his transfer, according French sports daily L’Equipe.

M’Vila has been chased by QPR boss Harry Redknapp, who has already put in a bid for the 22-year-old, which was not to Rennes’ liking.

The defensive midfielder is ready to leave Frederic Antonetti’s men during the current transfer window and the French club’s sporting director has admitted that he seems to be moving towards heading to England or Russia.

Redknapp was at Rennes’ Ligue 1 clash against Bordeaux yesterday and is working to secure the signing of the Frenchman, which would be viewed as a very real coup.

M’Vila has been chased by both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the past, and is rated as an extremely promising midfield prospect.

There have been concerns raised over his character, following indiscipline during France’s Euro 2012, campaign which has seen him banned from international football with Les Bleus until after the 2014 World Cup.

To snare M’Vila though, Redknapp must agree a fee with Rennes, who are now looking for €12M from the Loftus Road outfit.
