Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits that the Gunners are looking at Crystal Palace starlet Wilfried Zaha.

The 20-year-old forward is rated as one of the brightest prospects in the English game and is on the radar of a number of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, including Manchester United.

Crystal Palace are braced for offers for Zaha during the current transfer window and the Ivory Coast-born talent does look unlikely to remain at Selhurst Park for the foreseeable future.

And Wenger admits, Arsenal are keen on Zaha.

"We are looking at him", Wenger told a press conference, via his club’s official feed.

"But at the moment we have [made] no bid."

Wenger also gave the impression of keeping his transfer fund powder dry until the final week of the winter transfer window, when he feels prices will drop considerably.

"Most of the time, the prices go down in the last week", he said.

Snapping up Zaha would be a real statement of intent from Arsenal, but Manchester United are widely thought to be in the driving seat for the Crystal Palace starlet.
