The brother of Edinson Cavani has warned the striker’s suitors that the Uruguayan is "in love" with current club Napoli.

Cavani is one of the hottest properties in European football at present and was most recently linked with Arsenal, when Gunners boss Arsene Wenger admitted that the 25-year-old is a player he holds an interest in.

Napoli will demand top dollar to part with Cavani if they have to, but the player himself is unlikely to put pressure on the southern Italian side to leave, so much affection does he hold them in.

"Edinson improves by the game. I knew he would become huge", the player’s brother Walter told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"He tries to give his best. My brother is in love with Naples and the Neapolitans make him feel important and give him lots of love."

Asked about whether he will be staying a Napoli player, his brother replied: "Sure, it is very likely.

"In Naples he feels good, he wants to win in a blue shirt, but in football anything can happen."

Last season Cavani found the back of the net an impressive 23 times in 35 Serie A games, while he also scored five in eight Champions League matches.

During the current Serie A campaign he has been even more deadly, upping his goalscoring ratio by hitting the back of the net 17 times in 18 games so far.
