Lucas Moura is aiming to become better than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, his Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Alex has revealed.

PSG snapped up the talented Brazilian midfielder from Sao Paulo for a fee of around €40M last summer, and he arrived at the club in January.



The 20-year-old has already shown more than a few flashes of his ability and Alex has confirmed that Lucas has a steely determination to do well at the Parc des Princes.

And such is the midfielder’s faith in his own ability that he is bidding to become the best player in the world.

"He is a young talent looking to develop", Alex told L’Equipe.

"He came here for a lot of money and he wants to fulfil the expectations placed upon him.

"Lucas even aspires to one day become better than Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo."

Lucas is surrounded by stars in Paris and, under the watchful eye on Carlo Ancelotti, will be confident of settling into French football.
