Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay has stressed that he does not think of any other club but Benfica and he intends to play for the Portuguese side until the end of his contract.

Manchester United and Barcelona have both been credited with holding an interest in the Argentine, and look poised to try and acquire his services in the summer – this could allow him to make a move away from the Estadio da Luz for 2013/14.

"I have a two-year contract with Benfica and this will keep me at the club. That is my intention”, the 26-year-old told Portuguese daily O Jogo.

Garay has distanced himself from the stories of linking him to the ‘big’ clubs and has steered clear of any speculation by showing no interest in the transfer rumours. He is riding high after his national side’s 3-0 win against Venezuela last week.

"Now I just think of doing things well at Benfica and getting selected”, he said.

Garay’s contract at Benfica expires in 2015.
