Arsenal are chasing Dutch club Heerenveen’s child prodigy Rewan Amin, according to Tutto Mercato. Armin has already made five appearances for Holland at international level, in qualifying for the European Under-17 Championship.

The 17-year-old midfielder is yet to make his senior debut at Eredivisie club but his exploits have already attracted attention from the Gunners, who have a history of scouting young players and turning them into star players later on.

The North London club, who have played in the Champions League for the last 15 years, have shaped the likes of Ashley Cole, Jack Wilshere and Cesc Fabregas in recent years.

And Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is continuing to hunt new talents to bring to the Emirates Stadium.

Amin is expected to be a potential target for Arsenal this summer, although they will not have it all their own way moving for the Oranje midfielder.

The youngster has also attracted attention from other clubs, including Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven, while Heerenveen will also be keen to keep him.
