Vitesse hitman Wilfried Bony has sent out a "come-and-get-me" plea to Chelsea, insisting he considers them a "big club, a very nice club".

The prolific Ivorian has been regularly linked with the Blues over the course of the season, as his goalscoring exploits have lit up the Dutch Eredivisie.

And due to Chelsea’s partnership with Vitesse, which sees young talents flow from Stamford Bridge to the GelreDrome, the Blues are in pole position to snap up Bony if they so wish.

That is something which would clearly suit the striker.

"Of course it’s nice to hear", he told Dutch daily De Telegraaf, when asked about Chelsea’s interest.

"Chelsea is a big club, a very nice club", he added.

Bony did though play down talk a deal with the Blues could be done now, insisting that he must focus on Vitesse’s remaining games of the season and help his side to do the best they can, with the Eredivisie title still a realistic prospect.

"But this is not the right time for me to do a deal with them.

"I want to completely focus on the last seven games of the season at Vitesse."

Bony has been linked with a number of other English sides, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, Stoke and West Ham.
