Premier League clubs Everton and Newcastle are believed to have reignited their interest in acquiring Paris Saint-Germain forward Kevin Gameiro after he scored the crucial winner on the 80th minute for Carlo Ancelotti’s side in their match against Montpellier.

Gamiero’s winner against the current Ligue 1 champions on 29th March meant the 25-year-old striker’s total goals this season have now reached seven in 23 matches in all competitions. He is still expected to leave PSG in the summer however and, according to Calcio Mercato, Everton and Newcastle are poised to swoop.

Apart from Everton and Newcastle, Arsenal and Liverpool have also signalled their interest in the striker. Across the continent, it has also been mooted that Malaga and Lille are also keeping tabs on the French forward.

PSG have recently placed a €7M price tag on Gameiro, hinting that they want to sell him due to the club’s vast options up front. But given the vast interest in Gameiro, he may go for as high as €10M, it has been suggested.
