Werder Bremen winger Eljero Elia and team-mate Marko Arnautovic are set to leave the club, according to the German daily Bild.

The two were caught speeding last week in two different incidents. The Bundesliga side took a hard line on the pair’s actions and banned the duo for the rest of the season.

Now it seems Werder Bremen no longer want to have anything to do with the two, as they are both put on the transfer market as the club’s head coach, Thomas Schaaf, has finally lost patience.

Elia has found life at Werder Bremen a struggle, as he has found the net only once in 26 matches for the club in all competitions. Arnautovic, meanwhile, has had an arguably slightly better tenure at the club this season – he has scored five goals and clocked up nine assists in 27 appearances.

24-year-old Arnautovic will have his contract end in 2014, while the Elia is tied to Werder Bremen until 2016.

As to whether they will actually finish their deals with the club, however, is still up for speculation.
