Highly-rated Schalke playmaker Julian Draxler has vehemently taken a stand against speculation circulating that he is about to make a sensational move to local rivals Borussia Dortmund.

The 19-year-old has earned recognition for his performances for Die Konigsblauen this season, considering his young age. So far, he has already clocked up 11 goals and seven assists in a total 37 appearances for the club.

Proving to be a hot prospect, it is said that Borussia Dortmund are set to make a sensational swoop for Draxler – especially now that they have just lost their own playmaker Mario Gotze to newly-crowned Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in a €37M deal.

Just a few days ago, Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt has revealed that Draxler’s contract with the club has no buy-out clause, as such the club are not obliged to sell their startlet.

"I can promise this once and for all: I will not play for Borussia Dortmund. Also, I will not be making a move to Dortmund next season", Draxler was quoted as saying by German daily Die Welt.

The Schalke schemer adds that he can only be dismayed at the people spreading the false rumours about his future.

"I think anyone who knows me knows that I am from here. And from the beginning I can only shake my head at this talk", Draxler said.
