Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas feels FC Porto will have the upper hand against Benfica in O Classico on Saturday.

Benfica are the current league leaders leaders with 74 points, leading Villas-Boas’ former club Porto by two points. Both the Portuguese teams have two league games remaining this season.

“It is a very complicated situation for FC Porto at the moment and they will do everything to overcome Benfica, and become champions”, the Spurs boss told Portuguese television channel SIC.

“Anything can happen in a football game, and emotions are running high for a club like FC Porto at the moment, and the players are in a situation of maximum pressure.

“It usually transcends to achieving the goals, and I am confident. Porto have the belief and desire to be champions”, the Portuguese added.

The Dragons have won the league title in each of the last two years, in the 2010/11 season as well as the 2011/12 season. However, Benfica were Portuguese champions in the 2009/10 season.

Benfica will be hoping to achieve a potential treble this season, with the Portuguese Cup final to come and a date at the Amsterdam ArenA against Chelsea in the Europa League final on 15th May.

Saturday’s clash will take place at the Estadio do Dragao in Porto.
