Aston Villa goal-poacher Christian Benteke has insisted that his agent will let him know if there is any concrete offer for him this summer.

The 22-year-old Belgium international has earned rave reviews for his performances with the Villans this season, and has subsequently been linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Genk striker scored 19 times in his debut Premier League season, out of 34 appearances, and has now joined up with the Belgium squad for their forthcoming internationals against the United States and Serbia. And he is determined not to think about the transfer chatter.

"I’m with the national team for a change and I’ve not thought about that [interest from other clubs]”, Benteke told Belgian broadcaster RTBF.

“When there is something concrete, my agent will let me know", he added.

He arrived at Villa Park last summer for a modest fee of £7m, and has a contract until June 2016.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has also slapped a minimum asking price of £25m on the striker after his displays this season.
