Zinedine Zidane does not believe Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Real Madrid this summer.

The Frenchman, who is expected to be confirmed as the club’s new sporting director when president Florentino Perez is re-elected, has brushed away speculation that Ronaldo may choose to head to pastures new.

Indeed, despite the imminent departure of his countryman Jose Mourinho as manager, Zidane feels Ronaldo is happy in the Spanish capital.

"Cristiano is happy in Madrid", Zidane was quoted as saying by Maxifoot.
