Dunga, head coach of Brazilian side SC Internacional, has rubbished speculation that his star striker Leandro Damiao could soon leave the club, adding that there has been no official offer from other clubs for the centre-forward.

Damiao has already scored no less than eight goals to date for Internacional at both the domestic and continental level in the first five months of this year. Last year, he scored 24 goals in a total of 43 appearances.

Such attacking ability is attracting clubs more than five thousand miles away from Porto Alegre in Brazil, with the likes of London giants Tottenham Hotspur, Bundesliga heavyweights Borussia Dortmund and Italian side Napoli all credited with an interest in the striker.

But Dunga is waving away all such claims, telling Radio Kiss Kiss, "In Brazil, there is much talk surrounding Damiao, but so far nothing has been done.

"I spoke with our club’s president and he told me that there is no official offer that has been made for the player", the 49-year-old added.

Damiao has a contract with Internacional that will see him tied at the Estadio Beira-Rio until 2017.

The highly-rated already has 16 caps for Brazil under his belt, scoring on three occasions. He is expected to be a key man for the Selecao in the upcoming 2014 World Cup the country is due to host.
