In-demand Ajax playmaker Christian Eriksen has left the door open for a possible switch to Spain.

Eriken has always preferred a move to either England’s Premier League or Germany’s Bundesliga. But the 21-year-old admits that if a proposal did come from Spain, he would seriously consider it.

"That has indeed changed [preferring a move to England or Germany, ed.]", Eriksen told Sporten.

"I would not mind if something exciting came from Spain, but I do not anticipate it. Now I am still just an Ajax player", he added.

And on the style of play his new team must exhibit, Eriksen is clear too – anything but the long ball game.

"I will at least not choose a club where the long ball is played", he said.

Eriksen has been most strongly linked with Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund and English giants Liverpool in recent months.

It remains to be seen if any offer arrives from Spain for the Denmark international, whose contract at Ajax expires in the summer of 2014.
