Arsenal have announced the departures of Andrei Arshavin, Denilson and Sebastien Squillaci.

All three are due to see their contracts with the Gunners end on 30th June and the Gunners have opted not to renew them, leading to the trio ending their time at the club.



An Arsenal statement read: "Andrey Arshavin, Denilson and Sebastien Squillaci will leave the club when they come to the end of their contracts on June 30, and Arsenal would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their contribution and wish them well for the future."

Headlining the departures, Arshavin joined Arsenal in January 2009, following a superb Euro 2008 tournament with Russia.

He went on to make 144 appearances for Arsene Wenger’s men, scoring 31 goals over five seasons.

Brazilian talent Denilson landed at the Gunners in 2006, but has spent the last two years on loan at Sao Paulo in his homeland.

He made 153 appearances for the Gunners.

Squillaci meanwhile joined Arsenal from Sevilla in 2010, but struggled to cement a spot in the side.
