Saint-Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted that he is unlikely to be at Les Verts next season, with solid interest from clubs in England and Germany.

Aubameyang was lethal in front of goal for Saint-Etienne this season, helping the club to scoop up the French Coupe de la Ligue and make a genuine push for a Champions League spot in Ligue 1.

Such superb performances were guaranteed to attract attention and Aubameyang has earned a virtual army of admirers over the last 12 months.

The player’s agent has confirmed Arsenal and Tottenham are suitors, while Newcastle and Chelsea have also been linked.

In Germany, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund are fans; and Aubameyang has admitted they are pushing hard to gain pole position.

"There are great opportunities", he told French radio station RMC.

"The proposals are there, we have to see what the board decide to do. I still do not know where I’m going, but it is probably my last season here", the Gabon hitman continued.

"Today, I have contacts in Germany and England, and I see myself in one of these two championships.

"The Germans came forward first. Leverkusen spoke with Saint-Etienne. Rudi Voller [Leverkusen sporting director, ed.] spoke with my father.

"There is also Dortmund.

"We’ll see about it all."
