Stevan Jovetic has opened the door for a departure from Fiorentina this summer, by insisting he feels the time has come for a move to a "top club".

The Montenegrin forward has been consistently linked with English Premier League giants Arsenal and Serie A champions Juventus, but until now has avoided issuing a "come-and-get-me" plea.

That has changed though, with the forward clear he feels the time has come to leave, especially with Fiorentina having missed out on Champions League football for next season.

"I’ve been at Fiorentina since 2008, so I’ve played five very intense seasons", he explained to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I must be stimulated elsewhere, I’ll try a top club. I have played in Europe with Fiorentina, but now I want to win in Europe."
