Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has admitted he is flattered by talk that Barcelona are interested in signing him this summer.

Torres’ future at Stamford Bridge is in doubt following the arrival of Jose Mourinho as manager and continued speculation suggesting that the Portuguese is prepared to offload the former Liverpool hitman.

Barcelona have been mooted as a potential destination and Torres is pleased to hear of such a prestigious side being keen, even if he stresses that for now it is his intention to remain with Chelsea.

"It is always nice when such a club are interested", he told Spanish daily AS.
