Tottenham Hotspur have pulled off a smart piece of negotiating skill by agreeing a €20m double deal for two of the most promising talents in the Croatian game in Tin Jedvaj and Alen Halilovic.

According to Croatian daily Sportski, Spurs have reached an agreement with Dinamo Zagreb to scoop up both talents, although one of the pair will spend a further season in Croatia before heading to White Hart Lane next summer.

"We’ve agreed transfers for Tin Jedvaj and Alen Halilovic", Dinamo Zagreb president Mirko Barisic was quoted as saying.

"All has been agreed with their future club. One of them will be with us for at least another year."

While the club the pair are signing for is understood to be Tottenham, Barisic would not reveal the name of the side himself.

"What I have said is enough for now.

"I will not reveal the name of the club in public."

Halilovic operates as an attacking midfielder, has been nicknamed the "Croatian Lionel Messi" and has already featured for his country’s senior national team despite being just 17 years old.

Jedvaj meanwhile is a centre-back, standing 1.88m tall, and has been tipped for a bright future.
