Paris Saint-Germain are considering making an offer for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

According to French TV channel beIN Sport, owned by the Qatari group which in turn owns the Paris side, Ivanovic is under consideration at the Parc des Princes.

New PSG coach Laurent Blanc is keen to improve the club’s defence and, with one of Christophe Jallet and Gregory van der Wiel set to exit this summer (Inter have held talks for the latter), the French champions will soon need a new right-back.

And this has led to Ivanovic being identified as a potential acquisition.

The 29-year-old has firmly established himself at Stamford Bridge since arriving in 2008 from Russian Premier League outfit Lokomotiv Moscow.

Ivanovic has collected one Premier League title, three FA Cups, one Champions League and one Europa League with the Blues.

It remains to be seen if Chelsea can be tempted to sell the Serbian by PSG.
