Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he intends to send youngsters Nathaniel Chalobah and Josh McEachran back out on loan this season.

Both players have travelled with the Blues squad during their pre-season tour in the Far East and also featured in the club’s match against a Malaysia XI on Sunday, which Chelsea won 4-1.

McEachran enjoyed a loan stint with Championship side Middlesbrough last term, while Chalobah was loaned to Watford, and Mourinho believes that one final year away from Chelsea will be most beneficial for their development.

“Chalobah, we are thinking will go on loan for one last season. That’s our intention, he knows, we discussed that with him", he was quoted as saying by the FA.

“He’s a very, very good player and I like him very, very much. I am very impressed. For sure he is a Chelsea player [but] he has to play every weekend for the last year of his loan period.

“We think he is there. He could be in our squad already. But we think one more season and his last season on loan, because he’s very good.”

The former Real Madrid manager also confirmed that he has similar plans for McEachran.

“From these kids we have here [in Asia], Josh McEachran will go on loan, Chalobah will go on loan and for sure Chalobah it will be his last season on loan and back to stay for 2014/15.”

Both players are likely to be involved in the England Under-21 squad for their match against Scotland at Bramall Lane on 13th August.
