Bundesliga outfit Freiburg have insisted that they have not received an offer from Arsenal for highly-rated midfielder Matthias Ginter.
There has been speculation linking the 19-year-old, who can also operate in defence, with Arsene Wenger’s Gunners.
But Freiburg have explained the Premier League side have not made a bid for Ginter and the youngster is considered to be a key part of the club’s future.
Speaking about speculation linking Ginter with the Gunners, Freiburg sporting director Jochen Saier told the Badische Zeitung that the club have "not received" any bid.

And, Saier added: "Matthias Ginter is very important for SC Freiburg."
The 18-year-old is a product of the club’s youth academy and has long had his talent signposted.
Ginter has turned out for Germany at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning international recognition.
His contract with Freiburg runs until 2015.
