Barcelona have made an official offer for Chelsea defender David Luiz.
The bid for Luiz, according to Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo, is between €20m and €25m.
Barcelona are desperate to sign a centre-back this summer, but were thought to have been put off moving for Luiz over concern at the fee Chelsea would demand for the Brazilian.
However, highly rated by sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta, Barcelona have opted to at least test the water with an official offer.

The ball is now in Chelsea's court, but the Stamford Bridge outfit are expected to knock back the proposal.
Barcelona have also been linked with Liverpool defender Daniel Agger.
The Blaugrana had been keen on Paris Saint-Germain stopper Thiago Silva earlier this summer, but the French champions made clear that he would not be sold.
