Unsettled PSV Eindhoven striker Tim Matavz will demand a move away from the Phillips Stadion if he does not receive first team football at the club, the player's agent has revealed.

Matavz is on the shortlist of La Liga side Malaga, who will surely be pouncing on this new development once the two clubs meet for negotiations.

The Slovenian goalpoacher does not want to leave Eindhoven, but circumstances surrounding his first team chances are forcing him to leave, says his agent Henk van Ginkel.

"PSV are aware of the interest [in Matavz], but they obviously do not want to lose him. But Tim is not satisfied with this", Van Ginkel told De Telegraaf.

"Tim does not really want to leave. And if PSV say they really need him and he is that important, he should be given a chance to play and regain his confidence on the pitch", the agent further explained.

PSV have slapped a €10m price tag on Matavz, but Los Boquerones have tabled an offer that is believed to be nowhere near that level.

Matavz has a contract with PSV until 2016.
