Liverpool and Galatasaray have emerged as potential destinations for Fiorentina attacking midfielder-cum-winger Adem Ljajic this summer.

Ljajic had been interesting AC Milan this summer, but the Rossoneri were unable to reach an agreement with Fiorentina over the player, who La Viola have been hoping to keep and tie down to a new contract.

Unfortunately, keeping the Serbian is proving to be easier said than done, with Ljajic having not put pen to paper yet, alerting a whole host of clubs who are aware that his contract has but one year left to run.

Ljajic is believed to have rebuffed an approach from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month, when Milan were his priority.

There has also been interest from Atletico Madrid and Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle said: "It is hard for Ljajic to remain with us", before La Viola's Europa League match against Grasshopper.

Now, according to Tutto Mercato, two more suitors have appeared on the scene in the form of Liverpool and Galatasaray.

Liverpool are looking to make at least one further signing before the transfer window slams shut, while Galatasaray have long been in the market for a winger.

Both clubs have been linked with Atletico Madrid's Arda Turan, however his price tag has caused concern, with the Turkey international expected to fetch close to €25m.

21-year-old Ljajic may be seen as a better option and cheaper option.
