Juventus have resisted two offers of €25m from English clubs over the last week, with Arsenal most certainly and, likely Manchester United, the culprits, according to Calcio Mercato.

Pogba only joined Juventus last summer after deciding not to extend his contract at Manchester United, much to the disappointment of then-Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Juventus felt they had secured a coup – and so it proved, with Pogba lighting up last season's Serie A and helping the Bianconeri to retain their crown in style.

However, Antonio Conte's men are having to dig in to ensure that the France international remains in Turin this term.

Indeed, it is understood that over the course of the last week, two bids worth €25m dropped on Juventus' doormat, both from English Premier League sides.

Arsenal are known to be keen on Pogba, while the other offer is mooted to have come from Manchester United, the club Pogba left 12 months' ago.

Juventus' director general Giuseppe Marotta has been firm though, rejecting the proposals and stating that under no circumstances will Pogba be sold this summer – music to coach Conte's ears.

All eyes will now be on the Bianconeri in the remaining days of the transfer window to see if they can indeed resist the temptation to quickly cash in on the starlet.
