Juventus are monitoring the situation of Manchester United winger Nani and are ready to pounce if the Portuguese winger does not sign a contract extension.

Nani's current deal at Old Trafford expires next summer and he has yet to pen an extension, despite talks taking place between club and player.

The Sporting Lisbon youth product has been linked with leaving the English champions in the current transfer window, with Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain regularly mooted as destinations.

But Nani could head to Italy – just not this summer.

According to Sky Italia, the Italian champions are already looking towards signing Nani on a free transfer next summer, repeating their successful free transfer captures of Paul Pogba and Fernando Llorente.

Each arrived after their respective contracts expired, Pogba seeing his end at Manchester United and Llorente running his deal down at Athletic Bilbao.
