Manchester City playmaker Samir Nasri has revealed that playing in the United States' Major League Soccer is in his sights once he moves away from the Premier League.

The French international added that it has always been his desire to discover American culture and he would love the opportunity to do so in the future.

 


"As I've said before, I would really like to discover what it's like to play in the MLS", Nasri said in an interview with French sports daily L'Equipe.

"Plus, I've always loved the American culture", the Manchester City player further explained.

When asked about the possibility of returning to his boyhood club Marseille, Nasri said: "Clearly Marseille's financial capabilities are proving to be a stumbling block for my return.

"But in the future, you can never know."

Nasri started playing professional football with Ligue 1 side and hometown club Marseille in 2004, where he spent four years before moving on to the Premier League, first with Arsenal.
