Despite his "out-of-favour" status with the club, Chelsea's Belgian playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has no plan to leave Stamford Bridge just yet, says his agent Patrick De Koster.

De Bruyne impressed during his loan spell with Werder Bremen last term and played a key role in the side's survival in the Bundesliga relegation battle.

But Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has merely shrugged at the Belgian's supposed accomplishments, insisting that the level of the playing field with Chelsea is higher than that of Werder Bremen.

Furthermore, the Portuguese tactician decided to remove De Bruyne's name altogether from the squad which will face Steaua Bucharest later tonight in the Champions League.

Despite the writing being on the wall, De Bruyne is keen to prove his worth with the London giants, insists his agent.

"You cannot compare Chelsea with Werder Bremen or Racing Genk. Competition is fierce and we were already aware he would play less", De Koster told Sporza.

"Kevin knows he must play hard and fight for his place in the team. There is no panic on our side, and he has not thought of leaving.

"His dream of playing one day for Chelsea remains, and that's something he will work hard for", De Koster concluded.
