Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that young midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has penned a new four-year contract at White Hart Lane.

The 18-year-old is now under lock and key with Andre Villas-Boas' men until the summer of 2018.

 


Bentaleb had caught the eye with his performances for the club's Under-21 team towards the end of last term.

Indeed, the midfielder found the back of the net four times in 14 appearances, including a vital winner against rivals Arsenal.

The Lille-born midfielder joined Tottenham in January 2012.

He has been capped once by France at Under-19 level.
