Roma have made contact with Lille to discuss a potential move for the French club's forward Salomon Kalou.
The Ivorian hitman played under current Roma coach Rudi Garcia at Lille last term, with the tactician having played a key role in tempting the striker to France.
Now Garcia is spying a reunion with Kalou at Roma and, according to Tutto Mercato, the Giallorossi have already made contact with Lille to test the waters over a potential deal.
Kalou most notably turned out for Chelsea in his career, remaining at the Blues for six years and picking up a whole host of trophies, including one Champions League, one Premier League and four FA Cups.

Following a difficult initial introduction to life in France, Kalou eventually ended last season with 16 goals in all competitions to his name for the club.
The 28-year-old is under contract with Lille until 2018, however may be attracted to the idea of a switch to Serie A to link up with Garcia once again.
