Napoli are keen on swooping to snap up Bacary Sagna from Arsenal in the quickly approaching winter transfer window, according to Sky Italia.

Rafael Benitez's men have money to spend in the winter window and are looking to add a number of fresh faces to their squad to provide a second half of the season boost in Serie A.

And France international right-back Sagna is on Napoli's radar.

Sagna's contract at Arsenal expires next summer and he is yet to pen an extension, leaving the door open for a cut-price exit from the Emirates Stadium.

The Frenchman joined Arsenal from Auxerre in 2007 and quickly established himself as one of the most impressive full-backs in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen whether Sagna will be tempted into an Italy switch if Napoli do make a move, with Arsenal having made noises over a contract extension for the 30-year-old.
