Ezequiel Lavezzi admits his on-off situation at Paris Saint-Germain is partly his fault, though he will fight to stay amid interest from England and Italy.

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and AC Milan are monitoring the situation around Lavezzi who has played 11 Ligue 1 games this season, but with seven starts.

The Champions League has been better – he has started all but one of their five so far – but that has not stopped the speculation from growing.

Inter, in fact, were deemed to have joined the race this week, but when asked about a return to Italy the former Napoli man told Le Parisien: "I do not know.

"A player never knows exactly all these things.

"But what I can tell you is that I will do everything to change my situation in PSG because I did not give it my best shot and I do not want this to continue.

"I did not do a good preparation before the championship. And the fact that my level is not good is certainly linked to the fact that physically I'm a bit weak."

Argentina international Lavezzi had switched to the French capital from Napoli in 2012, and will be keen to revive his game time in a World Cup year.

The 28-year-old has 27 senior caps with the national side and scored three goals in their eight qualification games for Brazil 2014.
