John Heitinga has three Premier League clubs on his tail as he nears a departure from Everton in the quickly approaching January transfer window.

The Dutch defender is keen to move on from Goodison Park to secure regular first team football ahead of next summer's World Cup and has recently been linked with heading to Italy.

However, a number of sides want to keep the Holland star within English football.

According to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, Fulham, Norwich and West Ham are all fans of Heitinga and are firmly interested in the defender.

There is also attention from Fiorentina and Real Betis, but Heitinga is known to be settled in England and that is set to give Premier League sides an advantage.

Heitinga's contract at Everton expires next summer.

The 30-year-old has featured just twice for Everton so far this term, with both his appearances coming in the League Cup.
